In Japan they have a wide range of different foods that they eat, however eating traditional Japanese is still important in keeping their cultures identity such as the one on the left. The meal consists of white rice, soy products, and sea food. Important holidays that the Japanese may eat this traditional meal is during the New Year on January 1st. Another is the "Coming of Age" this is the day for 20 year old men & woman on the second Monday in January. People in Japan have certain ways to greet each other for a man greeting another man they bow to each other when greeting and when leaving. For a man to a woman the man bows to the woman or if it is for business reasons a light hand shake will work. Then for a woman meeting another woman each bow to one another. The native language in Japan is Japanese.
